The Role The hospital is looking for an experienced ICU Consultant to join their team in this 300 acute facility of which the ICU department is fully supported with consultants, registrars and RMO's. Average Acute care patients per years is around 25,000 in this busy facility catering for the regional population of 160,000.
Total remuneration up to $465,000 p.a.
The Location Our client is situated on one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal locations with idyllic tropical islands on your door step and a relaxed way of life. This is a large regional city with a local population of over 60,000 and a regional population of over 120,000. The local area has a well developed infrastructure and everything you would need and expect from a well developed regional city including great private schools, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful natural tropical surrounds.
The Hospital The hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The Requirements To apply you will need to have completed one of the following:
Fellowship of CICM
Your full specialist training in the UK, USA, Canada or Ireland.
Have had your specialist training assessed by the FCICM and have been found to be comparable.
