The Role OUr client is a Cancer Service attached to a Tertiary Hospital, seeking a Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist responsible for specialist diagnosis, treatment and care for public hospital outpatients in the subspecialty of medical oncology.
The successful candidate will receive several benefits, including a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or a motor vehicle allowance of $25,758 per annum, a communication allowance, a Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $24,927 per annum, a North West Retention Allowance, a Private Patient Allowance, and an On-Call Allowance.
The Hospital A population of around 250,000 in Northern Tasmania is served by an integrated Cancer Service, which offers medical oncology, radiation oncology, and haematology services across three sites. The service prides itself on promoting values such as integrity, innovation, collaboration, and compassion. Additionally, it has a clinical trials and research unit that conducts a range of phase 2 and 3 trials, as well as a rigorous MDT meeting program.

The Requirements To apply you must either be:
Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Medical Oncology
On RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowship
Hold or be eligible for the FRACP
IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
IMG's with RACP interview date
IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
