Due to career progression within AMH we have two full time vacancies for enthusiastic individuals who have an interest in working within AMH these are both available as either a year’s secondment or temporary contract of 1 year.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a busy and challenging environment, developing effective therapeutic relationships with both patients and careers.

Candidates should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of the ward nursing team and within the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Fyvie wards catchments cover both the Shire and City as well as the Orkney Islands and has a consultant and MDT for each area.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver care in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and in line with local and national policy including health and safety legislation. You will be fully supported and will be given plenty of opportunities for professional and personal development.

This role will require the successful candidate to be able to work 12 hour shifts as well as night duty. Ideally candidates should have completed the flying start.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates
