The roles: 
Are you passionate about driving successful project delivery? Our first opportunity is within our Delivery Support Services Practice Management team. As a Project Officer, you will assist with the project support and project delivery communities of practice and provide support to enable the successful delivery of practice management services across large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) programs and project(s).

Our two other remaining exciting openings are within our eHITS unit. As part of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting program-level activities and coordinating the delivery of specialised work packages, reporting, and program maintenance. You will work closely with the Program Support team to ensure tight deadlines for competing priorities are met with accuracy, where attention to detail is paramount.

To be successful in either role you will require a combination of the below skills /experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing planning and scheduling assistance to large scale, complex Information Management (IM) and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program/project(s).
  • Proven experience maintaining program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies.
  • Experience aiding in the compilation of Queensland Health and Project management reports.
  • Effective communication and experience fostering relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and improving project support guidance to facilitate the implementation of the Project Competency Frameworks.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities within project and business support.
  • Monitor and report on work package activities against agreed criteria.

Additional Info:

  • Experience with Microsoft Project Online, Visio and Excel will be highly desirable.
  • Reasonable travel as negotiated may be a requirement of this position. Whilst this position is based at Fortitude Valley, the role is required to provide operational support (onsite and remote) to Queensland Health sites. (applicable to x 2 eHITS role only)
  • An open ‘C' class driver's license is desirable (applicable to x 2 eHITS role only)
