About the role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Ophthalmology will lead and deliver expert clinical leadership in the provision and co-ordination of care to patients requiring Ophthalmic care. They will work in collaboration with the Ophthalmologists, within the multi-disciplinary team to foster support networks for patients requiring Ophthalmic care.  The CNC Ophthalmology should have expert knowledge in clinical conditions and interventions that enable them to navigate, assess and support patients requiring treatment in both the outpatient and inpatient setting.

Role requirements
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.

Highly Desirable
Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
