About the jobOur client is a fast-growing AgriTech startupThe RoleIn this role, we are looking for discovery-focused RD professionals. You will be responsible for : Conducting thorough research and executing projects in plant-based/fungi-based/algae-based materials with targeted nutritional properties. Designing and conducting experiments for bioprocessing of microbial protein and cultivated plant-based food. Investigating processing techniques to optimize sensory properties and nutritional profiles of food products. Collaborating with teams, partners, and institutions to integrate emerging technologies. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting risk assessments. Planning and executing experiments in alternative protein space.Ideal Profile You possess a Masters or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Food Science, or a related field, and have at least 2 years of experience as a Research Analyst or similar roles. You have a solid background in cellular/tissue engineering and product development. Experience with proteins/enzymes and novelty food processing would be advantageous. You are a discovery-focussed RD professional, with a zeal to contribute to novel discoveries. You possess excellent communication abilities and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
