Job Description

Principal Duties:

 

  • The candidate is responsible for performing procedural and consultative duties as assigned by the section head.
  • In addition to his duties as staff physician he/she shall be accountable to the section head of medical imaging for fulfilling his/her responsibilities .
  • Ensures that he/she maintain high medical standard in the practice of radiology performs administrative tasks set by the section head of medical imaging department.
  • Participates in education and in formal education programs in the hospital.
  • Engages clinical reviews, clinical research and other scholarly pursuits.
  • Actively participates in QI activates
  • Provides input to the section head of medical imagining department.

Liaises With:

  • Section head of other department.
  • All clinical regarding their need for services
  • Medical imaging staff

Clinical duties:

  • Reports any violations of the rule and regulations of the departments to the head
  • Serves on committees as appointed by the section of the medical imaging department

 

 

Education: Basic Medical degree Recognized by the Saudi Medical Council ( e.g.MBBS, And post graduate qualifications such as board certified or board eligible.

Skills

 

Work Experience: Four (4) years’ experience in radiology, if not board eligible.

English language: Level I preferred

Arabic Language: preferred

Computer Skills: level II essential
