The Role:
Our client is looking for an ED registrar to join the team on a full time basis for up to 12 months. This is a Tier 1 site accredited for 36 months ACEM training, including Training stage 4 of the ACEM program. A highly competitive salary will be awarded to successful candidates.

The Location:
Suburban Perth, 30 mins from the CBD. Locals and visitors alike enjoy the range of experiences and activities the area has to offer. Spend your days off enjoying the area's scenic parks and modern conveniences.

The Hospital:
This is 270 bed public hospital, Aged Care & Rehabilitation Service, Community Health Service and Mental Health Service all located on one site. The hospital has enjoyed some recent redevelopment including the new Emergency Department which doubled the size of the previous department to 47 patient spaces and also the construction of a new Mental Health residential facility.


The Requirements
One or more of the following:
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Eligible for either the Standard pathway, Competent Authority, Short Term Training Pathway or Specialist Pathway.
  • All IMG's who have completed AMC MCQ 1 and eligible for the Standard Pathway.
  • Those IMG's who are working in the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ and eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway.
  • IMG's who are either a Specialist in the home country or within a year of obtaining their Specialist qualification and eligible for the Short Term Training Pathway.
  • IMG's who have lodged their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
