The Position This hospital is currently seeking expression of interest from qualified and experienced Emergency Medicine Consultants to provide specialist emergency services to adult and paediatric patients.
The Hospital The largest regional health service between Sydney and Melbourne. Provides care for a catchment population of 250,000 and has over 2000 staff meeting the needs of the diverse regional community. With a $600M redevelopment scheduled to be completed by 2027, construction has already started on a new ED and short stay unit. The ED has 20 treatment areas including 4 consulting rooms, a plaster room, an eye room, 12 general cubicles and 2 resuscitation beds. It is also the regional Trauma Centre.

The Requirements One or more of the following:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
Hold or eligible for FACEM
Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level.
ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM
IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
