The Role: Our client are looking for a Director of Emergency. The role is focused on the operational integration and leadership of the Emergency Services across the Health Service; encompassing 2 Emergency Departments across 2 campuses and the Urgent Care Centres of 2 other campuses. The role is responsible for establishing and coordinating medical workforce requirements and ensuring the provision of high-quality Emergency care as well as managing the clinical and financial performance of Emergency Services.
The Facility: Our client is a state-of-the-art leading accredited regional hospital based in a university town and is a major training facility. The hospital offers a range of acute and sub-acute services.
The Location: Just 90 minutes north of cosmopolitan Melbourne, it is the commercial capital of the Central Highlands and its largest city. The Requirements One or more of the following:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
Hold or eligible for FACEM
Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level, ideally with Head of Department/ Clinical Director experience
IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
