The Role: Our client is looking for an Emergency Medicine Consultant to join the team on a full time basis.
The Location: Located nearly 600km from state capital, Perth, this town is like nowhere else in Australia and like no other goldmining town which usually last a few years, this has been running since 1893. The main street in town is awash with glorious buildings all bearing testament to the wealth that has been generated. It is a city to be savoured.
The Hospital: Our client is a 131-bed hospital with over 350 qualified medical practitioners in what is the regional public hospital in WA. Visitors and locals now have access to upgraded, modern treatment facilities with all clinical works in what has been a $59.6 million redevelopment of the main campus which officially opened in 2015. The completion of clinical works seamlessly ties into earlier phases of the redevelopment which included apalliative care unit, new emergency department, high dependency unit and medical imaging department.
The Requirements One or more of the following:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
Hold or eligible for FACEM
Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level.
ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM
IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
