The Position: Our client is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Consultant to join their team. There is also the possibility of various fixed-term appointments lasting up to 5 years.

The Hospital: Accredited by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM), this 170-bed hospital is currently undergoing an impressive $200 million transformation. Upon completion, it will become the largest healthcare facility in regional Western Australia, serving as a crucial community healthcare hub for the entire South West region. Established in 1999, it stands as the largest hospital and healthcare complex outside the metropolitan area. Catering to over 80,000 local residents and visitors, the hospital has recently undergone significant upgrades, including the addition of the first ICU in the region, a comprehensive cancer care center, and an expanded Emergency Department.
The Requirements One or more of the following:
Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
Hold or eligible for FACEM
Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level.
ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM
IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
