The Logistics Transformation Lead’s purpose is to take responsibility for the scoping and effective delivery of improvement projects within the NHS Highlands Supplies and Logistics Function. This will include Transportation/distribution, Warehousing, Information Integration, Resource Optimisation, Inventory Control and Risk Management.
This role is highly visible as a senior leader and they will take a structured approach to leading large scale changes, utilising the Boards standard approach.
They will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery, including scoping, planning; project start-up and delivery; working with clinical and non-clinical leads across the Board and linking with wider stakeholders such as GPs and patients to ensure their voice guides our transformation.
They will drive the delivery of change towards the agreed service targets and lead people through the changes required to achieve the goals set out for the piece of work, managing conflict and facilitating stakeholders to move towards a shared goal. They will ensure the effective governance of the work, and be responsible for ensuring effective benefits management is in place to track impact of the project (across Quality, Delivery, People and Finance).
The Transformation Lead will be responsible for coordinating all elements of the programme or project life cycle and will take day to day responsibility for supporting the delivery at each stage, from inception to post-deliver evaluation.
