The Role
As a General Medicine Registrar you will be responsible for managing the care of patients in consultation with the Consultants, Nurses and Allied Health professionals. In this key role, you will be actively involved in continuous Quality Improvement activities, as well as participate in continuing education activities. This position is fully accredited for both basic and advanced training.

The Hospital
Services provided include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, renal dialysis, emergency, intensive care, mental health, rehabilitation, and palliative care. The hospital has recently undergone significant expansion with the opening of a new Intensive Care Unit, additional operating theatres and two new wards. Just under 300 beds.

The Requirements
To apply you must either be:
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Internal /General Medicine
  • On RACP training program
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
