The Location Known as the capital of the north this city has a population in excess of 200,000 so has extremely well developed infrastructure and facilities with great schools etc. In your spare time there is plenty to keep you occupied. Whether you prefer fishing, snorkelling, scuba diving wrecks or the Great Barrier Reef, exploring the bush, fine dining or shopping, there is something for everyone. With great schools, restaurants, bars, shopping as well as the reef, rainforest, outback and wetlands it's hard to go past this region as a place where you can have the perfect work life balance.
The Requirements One of the following or more should apply to you:
Hold or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Possess at least 12 months recent experience recent experience as an ICU registrar in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada or New Zealand.
On CICM training program or intending to join
IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
IMG's with CICM interview date
IMG's assessed by CICM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
