The Position
Our client has a great opportunity for a General Physician/ Nephrologist to join the unit on a Full Time basis.


The Hospital
This is a major clinical teaching and research centre working closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. The hospital provides services to a population of about 240,000 people and has 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds. The Emergency Department provides care for 70 000 patients annually. Approximately 25% of the case load is paediatric. It also runs a 20 bed Emergency Medical Unit.

The Requirements
To apply you must either be:
  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Nephrology and Renal Medicine
  • On RACP training program
  • Hold the FRACP
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
