The Position We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Paediatriatic Consultant to join a motivated team of experienced professionals. As a Senior Staff Specialist you will ensure that Paediatric services provided by the hospital are of the highest standard and delivered in a reliable and cost-effective manner given available resources. You will be comfortable providing professional leadership and direction to medical staff within the department. The Location Located just off the Southern Great Barrier Reef the city is a gateway to picturesque tropical Islands and the Reef itself. Spend your weekends swimming alongside turtles and dolphins in crystal clear waters, sailing on a breeze, or simply unwinding on your own deserted beach. This is truly an idyllic part of the world.
The Facility The Hospital provides health services, including emergency, outpatients, general medicine and surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, high-dependency, palliative, Telehealth and community mental health. The Hospital has adopted an integrated approach to service delivery to ensure continuity, effectiveness and efficiency in the provision of health care. The Requirements One or more of the following:
Hold or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Possess at least 12 months recent experience as a Consultant Paediatrician in either Australia, The UK, Ireland, Canada, NZ or South Africa.
On RACP training program
IMG's with RACP interview date
IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
