The Role: Our client has a terrific opportunity for a Psychiatrist to join their team on a permanent full time basis as a General Adult Staff Specialist.
The Location Our client is located in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal locations with idyllic tropical islands on your door step and a relaxed way of life. This is a large regional city with a local population of over 60,000 and a regional population of over 180,000. The local area has a developed infrastructure including great private schools, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful natural tropical surrounds.
The Facility This accredited teaching hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The Requirements To apply you must either be:
Hold or be eligible for appropriate registration with AHPRA
Hold or be eligible for admission to Specialist Fellowship with RANZCP.
Onshore in Australia or IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
Possess at least 12 months recent experience at a Consultant Level
