Psychiatry Registrar

JPS Medical Recruitment - More jobs by this advertiser
The Role
A terrific opportunity for a Psychiatric Registrar/PHO to join our client's Mental Health Unit. Commencing in April 2023, you will have the opportunity to provide care to a range of patients across the full spectrum of mental health services, including substance and alcohol related care. The service is fully accredited by RANZCP for training through to fellowship, with stage 1 and 2 accreditations across all RANZCP rotations.

The Location
The hospital is in an idyllic part of Central Queensland, half an hour inland from the coast. With over 300 days of sunshine each year, you may be tempted to throw a line in and try your luck at hooking a Barramundi. For a more relaxing option, take a stroll along the riverfront precinct, or head for the coast and its neighbouring islands, the vast majority of which is national park. With a rich agricultural history, the town centre boasts heritage buildings which echo its prosperous past.

The Facility
Our client is the largest hospital in Central Queensland, offering medical services to a catchment population of over 230,000 people.
