Kincardine Community Hospital requires an enthusiastic and caring SCN to join their team within the inpatient ward and the outpatient department. The successful candidate will lead the nursing team to support the assessment, planning and delivery of care ensuring that standards of practice are maintained, reviewed and developed and staff deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.  They must be able to demonstrate an ability to engage in and develop a positive ward culture, to support the clinical team, engage in programmes of care to enhance the patient journey and contribute towards delivery of positive outcomes using the Excellence in Care framework. You will be responsible to the Location Manager and the Lead Nurse and will be expected to work on your own merit, be supported by your peers and remain engaged in productive team dynamics. 

The successful candidate should be innovative and be creative within their organisational role. A keen interest and knowledge of quality improvement is desirable.  They should be able to provide effective management and prioritisation of the competing demands within an unpredictable environment by ensuring effective use of resources and workforce planning.
