TheRole

As a clinical lead,you will be part of the leadership team at Connect2Care. Leadsare responsible for providing clinical support &supervision to new graduates & junior clinicians andmanaging a small caseload. Clinical leads are an integral partof Connect2Care, empowering the new employee cohort to strivefor excellence and having a great influence on company-wideprogress. The role involves:

  • Providingsupervision to therapeutic employees, including newgraduates
  • Ensuringtherapists are providing high-quality, evidence-based& well-documented therapy
  • Being availableto answer questions from Connect2Careclinicians
  • Assisting therecruitment team upon request
  • Helping newemployees with scheduling, including their first month,induction, shadowing, training &supervision
  • Ensuringappropriate handover is completed when a member of theteam leaves
  • Networking withexternal companies, buildingrelationships
  • Liaising withmanagement regularly to provide updates on staffperformance & feedback
  • Occasionalinterstate travel, assisting clinicians in other states(if required)
  • Managing asmall caseload
  • Otherresponsibilities include:
  • Managingstaff workloads & capacity, takinginto account staff availability andservice area
  • Managingcomplaints
  • Conductingperformance appraisals forstaff
  • Implementingperformance management plan for staff ifrequired
  • Managingdepartment resources (including requests, sufficientstock levels & ensuring updates asrequired)
  • Liaising withother clinical leads to ensure consistency across theteams
  • Regularmeetings & communications with the Administrationteam
  • ArrangingInternal PDs & learningopportunities
Requirements

To apply for therole, you will need to have or be able to obtain thefollowing:

  • RelevantTertiary qualifications in relatedfield
  • 5+ yearsexperience working in a relevant field (highlydesirable)
  • Leadership& management experience of clinicalstaff (highly desirable)
  • Discipline-Specific Registration(e.g. AHPRA/SPA)
  • Working withChildren Check (WWCC or BlueCard)
  • NDIS WorkerScreening Check
  • Evidence ofCOVID-19 vaccination (or validexemption)
  • Police Check& International Police Check (only applicable toindividuals who have livedoverseas)
  • Driver’slicence & access to a reliablevehicle
  • Carinsurance
  • ProfessionalIndemnity & Public Liabilityinsurance
