Job Description

Ability Action Australia continues to grow nationally. Our multidisciplinary team in the ACT is looking for an experienced Speech Pathologist who wants to make a meaningful and rewarding impact for NDIS participants living in the ACT!

On a daily basis you will be:

  • Managingan allocated caseload and completingtherapeutic services in a timely manner with the option to specialise your caseload as the team grows
  • Delivering much needed speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes and the broader community
  • Formulating treatment goals unique to each participant based on your interpretation of findings fromthe use of clinical observations and standardised assessments
  • Providingtherapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
  • Collaboratingwithin a multidisciplinary team

About you

  • Experience in the NDIS as a Speech Pathologist
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
  • Looking for a fun, collaborative and supportive work environment
Qualifications
  • Degree qualified Speech Pathologist
  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
