The clinic is integrated on an electronic medical record (EMR) system and there is no on call requirement.Conveniently located off the 102 highway near Kearney Lake area just outside of downtown Halifax, the clinic provides a collegial and supportive work environment.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory proceduresAdvise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease preventionConsultation and referral to other medical practitionersAct as a patient’s advocatePrescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinationsReport births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per Nova Scotia Public Health requirementsHalifax , the largest urban area in Atlantic Canada and Nova Scotia's capital city, sits in the center of Nova Scotia's east coast and is an important seaport that looks out over one of the world's largest natural harbors.Halifax is a perfect paradox.
