You’ll work as part of a vibrant and caring team meeting the needs of small groups of children.
You’ll promote each child’s development and have lots of fun doing this! Reading stories, giving cuddles, pretending to have tea parties, finding bugs in the garden, painting and lots more!
You also need to be great at liaising with parents/carers
You will be responsible for evaluating the activities, and for maintaining online learning journals via Tapestry.
Our working hours are between 7 am and 6.30 pm Monday to Friday, so you need to be flexible to work shift patterns within these hours. Our part-time staff work specific days during the week, and our full-time posts are worked over 4 days giving you a day off in the week!

Getting to Work
Application can be made for parking on site at UHS or through one of the park and ride schemes. This will be based on specific criteria to determine eligibility for site parking as this can be very limited. UHS encourages staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible. UHS is well connected through bus services to the city centre and other areas.
