To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Provide expert clinical assistance in the acute health setting to assist in the delivery of best practice evidence-based care to patients access the health service.
  • Facilitate, coordinate, and deliver clinical education including mandatory training.
  • Support undergraduates and graduates in their transition to practice including assisting preceptors with assessment and feedback.

Requirements for the role:

  • This position may require the incumbent to travel to remote centres in a 4WD which requires a C Class Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
  • Travel across the TCHHS may a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.
  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration/endorsement with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to commencement of clinical duties. Current registration with the Australian Health Practice Registration Authority (AHPRA) as a registered nurse and current practising certificate is mandatory.
