About your opportunity:
The Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Townsville University Hospital, is currently seeking to recruit a Clinical Nurse to their PICU Retrievals Team. This position is Fixed Term Temporary part-time working 35 hours per fortnight ASAP up to 26.01.2025.
The Clinical Nurse will be based within the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of The Townsville University Hospital. The PICU is a tertiary referral unit serving the northern and far north regions of the state. The Townsville Paediatric Retrieval Service based within the PICU provides clinical advice, stabilises, and retrieves children from hospitals throughout these regions as part of a state-wide network.
This role will be based within the PICU, and the applicant will be tasked with both retrieval work and clinical duties within the base hospital.
