About you:

In your new role you will…

  • Be competent in the coordination of multidisciplinary clinical trials and effective coordination of the research team at an advanced level.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will provide expert clinical care within the Clinical Research Unit whilst coordinating and participating in clinical research studies conducted by the Principal Investigator. The Clinical Nurse will participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating subject care and clinical research studies with a focus on Oncology research.

About your role:

  • Provide effective and efficient clinical care in the area of clinical research and work in collaboration with the Clinical Nurse Consultant and Principal Investigator's to ensure the maintenance of safe standards in patient care.
  • Provide leadership to effectively plan, manage and evaluate patient care activities at an advanced practitioner level within the specified clinical setting.
  • Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation to promote effective team functioning including communication with Ethics Committees, Sponsors and consortium.
  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective patient care working within the applicable regulatory and statutory guidelines.
