About us:

Gladstone Hospital has an 8 bed General Paediatric Ward, a 4 cot Nursery and an 8 bed General Paediatric Ward. It is the hub centre for the Banana Shire accepting referrals in consultation with the Paediatrician and Qnets of children and neonates who can be managed within the resources available.

About the role:

Assist the Director, Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff to ensure that Obstetrics and Gynaecology services provided by the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner given available resources. 

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • MBBS or equivalent to enable registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA at Level 3 supervision.
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
  • If qualifications were obtained outside Australia, please review the role description to check the requirements.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of $146,469 p.a. (L4), $160,859 p.a. (L7), $169,083 p.a. (L9) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $125,808 - $138,571 p.a. (L4 – L7)
  • A salary between $125,808 - $145,865 p.a. (L4 – L9)
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
