The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service is seeking an experienced Executive Director for Workforce Division.

This position is accountable for the development and implementation of workforce strategies, systems and capability to ensure that the SCHHS is well positioned to deliver current, emerging and future health care needs.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

You will lead the workforce strategy to ensure SCHHS realises its goal of being a national leader in the delivery of high quality, person-centred care, by a dedicated team who exemplify strong partnership capability and accountability for results.

Key Resposnibilities:

  • Shape and lead strategic thinking and strategy development at the executive level in a complex, diverse and dynamic environment with ambitious goals for its community and people.
  • Lead, create and implement strategies including organisation development/workforce capability, workforce advisory functions, safety and wellbeing, employee relations, which draw upon the Queensland Health and SCHHS strategic frameworks to position the leadership and management culture within the SCHHS.
  • Lead the development and implementation of the SCHHS Workforce Strategy, including the Health and Wellbeing Plan, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Plan, Workforce Engagement Plan and Capability Plan.

Total Remuneration value up to $266 020 p.a., comprising salary between $188 951 - $206 295 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HES2 (H)) (Full time contract for 3 years).
