About you:

In your new role you will…

  • Demonstrate substantial experience with an excellent record of achievement in a senior workforce planning (or similar) role with proven ability to analyse and interpret workforce data, develop and test workforce scenarios and collaboratively agree on service delivery strategies that deliver streamlined and optimised patient flow and outcomes.
  • Prove ability to use information management systems, manage data, undertake trend analysis and forecasting, identify issues and evaluate and report on workforce planning activities.
  • Demonstrate high level written communication skills including consultation, negotiation, with an ability to prepare written strategies, communications, project plans, briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence for key stakeholders, with a high attention to detail.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will provide insightful analysis and recommendations to the Mental Health and ATODS Leadership Team on the gaps between current workforce planning and projected workforce; identifying efficiencies and strategic improvement that benefit a growing community service and the workforce.

About your role:

  • Define the future workforce through workforce strategy design to support the realising of business priorities and changes to work, workers and the workplace.
  • Support the service to undertake workforce related reviews and patient-centred transformations in existing service delivery models that facilitate multidisciplinary teaming and enable agility work methods supported by devolved decision authorities and new ways of working.
  • Undertake high level research and analysis of internal and external workforce trends, data to identify key workforce trends and issues as these relate to a large or complex clinical organisation and develop workforce planning recommendations that adhere to international workforce planning best practice and recommended solutions to resolve problems and mitigate risks.
