About the role

This role will provide technical advice and manage infrastructure projects in support of the West Moreton Health (WMH) Major Capital program of works, ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria.

The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Provide appropriate infrastructure and building services advice across a broad range of building management issues to support major capital design and delivery.
  • Promote and ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, formal stakeholder project meetings and risk and issue management to ensure safe, quality project outcomes are delivered.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience in the management of medium to high scale multi-trade projects preferably in the health care industry, achieving agreed performance criteria.
  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management to support effective project delivery, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a project environment.
  • Ability to prioritise works, projects and timeframes and make responsible and accurate recommendations.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Whilst not mandatory, possession of a Safety in the Construction Industry White card would be highly desirable.
  • Whilst not mandatory, a Diploma in Project Management and/or professional membership of a recognised industry organisation (e.g. Australian Institute of Project Management) will be highly regarded.
