NHS Highland - More jobs by this advertiser

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work as part of the East Sutherland Community Nursing Team, based at the Lawson Memorial Hospital.

This is an exciting post in which the candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to be part of a multi disciplinary team, within the community  integrated team. Experience in dealing with a wide variety of health and social care issues is desirable and the candidate would be able to provide a high standard of patient care to maintain patients in their own home whenever possible.

This is a permanent post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked over 5 days, covering a 7-day rota, with an out-of-hours on-call commitment to end of life care, when required.

A current driving licence is essential for the post; a pool car will be available but occasionally may require use of your own vehicle for work purposes. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations to meet the operational requirements of the service.

Informal enquiries would be welcomed by Lynn Ross, Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Professional Lead, Tel: 01408 664061, or Heather Taylor, Integrated Team Manager for East Sutherland, Tel: 01408 664016.
