An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join our team in Ward 206, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Part time post available 33.3 hours, 11.25 hr shifts with day, night rotation and weekend work.

Suitable candidates should have extensive post registration surgical nursing experience and also have current experience of providing good quality care in an acute setting. The applicant should have some knowledge of the Enhanced recovery programme and data collection.

We are a busy 20-bedded general surgery elective ward. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate clinical excellence in nursing practice, have experience in management, evidence of continuous service improvement and the ability to facilitate and manage change within a clinical environment.

We are looking for a motivated individual wishing to develop leadership skills, who will support the SCN to lead the team rising to any challenges and have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
