An exciting opportunity exists for a Radiographer Clinical Manager - Computed Tomography, to deliver specialist Computed Tomography (CT) Medical Imaging services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. 

The position is accountable for the delivery of specialist CT Imaging services, the management and professional competence of staff, whilst providing an advanced leadership role in the multidisciplinary team.

The Medical Imaging Service provides a comprehensive Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology service.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Professionally manage the delivery of complex medical imaging services within Computed Tomography.
  • Provide advanced level clinical advice to health practitioners in order to deliver effective speciality medical imaging services within the SCHHS.
  • Manage the quality of clinical practice within the specific CT medical imaging areas and play an active leadership role which contributes to the professional competence of the medical imaging team.

Remuneration value up to $167,588 p.a., comprising salary between $140,767 - $146,883 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5).
