About the role:

Regional Australian healthcare shares similar challenges and demands with national and international hospitals, including population growth, poor lifestyle factors, increasing chronic disease, declining health literacy, socioeconomic disparity and a static healthcare system falling short of modern world requirements.

To address these challenges Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service has committed to delivering Phase 2 of an innovative and transformational Integrated Allied Health Model of Care to achieve system-wide and patient centred improvements. This model focuses on optimising ‘Care in the Hospital' to improve the patient journey and transition of care; and expanding ‘Care where You Live' to meet the increasing healthcare needs and expectations of the community.

The aim of this project role is to establish and implement the Integrated Allied Health Model of Care that achieves ‘Great Care, Great Experience' for our patients by delivering the right care, at the right place, at the right time.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in a Health Practitioner Discipline and be eligible for registration/membership with the relevant Allied Health registration board and/or professional body.

  • Experience in project management and with evidence of successful application of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to achieve fit for purpose outcomes on time, within scope, budget, and in accordance with quality management principles.
  • Ability to apply high-level healthcare knowledge and project management skills in advising CQHHS and other stakeholders in relation to the development, implementation and evaluation of the project.
  • Analytical, conceptual, and innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement flexible and responsive solutions to deliver transformation project outcomes.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $167,588 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $70.99 - $74.07 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
