The Medical Ward is a 16-bed unit that cares for a diverse range of clientele, including those with cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, neurological and renal aliments. The ward specialises for those who require palliative care services.

This role provides advanced nursing leadership in proactively managing and coordinating clinical practice and the provision of human, financial and material resources in accordance with organisational goals, ensuring a cost-effective nursing service focused on providing exceptional, evidenced-based patient care.

On offer is a Fixed Term Temporary full-time role for up to 12 months.

• base salary $4933.10 - $5355.90 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7).
• 5 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 17.5% loading

Role requirements

• Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
• Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant.
• VPD risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
• A 6-month period of probation may apply.
