 Eligible Health Workers who move to Queensland from interstate and international jurisdictions to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 in incentive payments 
under the

Employment Term

  • Three (3) permanent full-time positions
  • Two (2) fixed term temporary full-time, up to 05/01/2025
    (with a possibility of an extension, not exceeding 12 months)

Role requirements 

  • Mandatory requirements are possession of a qualification in physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and current registration, or eligibility for current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Drivers License: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.

Generous remuneration package value up to $132,730 p.a.comprising: 

  • Salary rates between $2941.70 - $4459.00 p.f. (HP3)
  • 17.5% annual leave loading + leave
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • Professional Development allowance + leave
  • Other employment benefits may include: salary sacrificing options ( https://www.health.qld.gov.au/employment/conditions/salary/sacrifice ), locality allowances, employee wellness and assistance programs and access to corporate discounts

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:

  • Clinical Expertise:
    • Demonstrated competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in physiotherapy clinical practice.
  • Communication:
    • Demonstrated effective communication skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a single-discipline or a multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Clinical Ability
    • Demonstrated ability to manage a clinical caseload under the clinical practice supervision of more senior physiotherapists; and to assess non-complex patients and interpret assessment findings to develop and implement safe and effective routine physiotherapy interventions.
  • Leadership:
    • Demonstrated ability or ability to rapidly acquire the skill to supervise assistant staff and contribute to the supervision of students on work experience or clinical placement.
