The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) SE network 4 - Yorkton is seeking a team orientated and professional locum General Surgeon to join our health care team.
Position will include regular OR slates as well as emergency on-call. Week long locums preferred but will consider alternate durations.
The Yorkton Regional Health Centre is an 86 in-patient bed facility equipped with 4 OR suites. In-patient units include: Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Intensive Care Unit, and Obstetrics with a well-baby nursery. Outpatient services include: Emergency Department, Hemodialysis, Chemotherapy.
Position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to closing date.

• Certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) in General Surgery
• Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)
• Valid driver’s license
• Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
• Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
• Legal entitlement to work in Canada
