The Role The Emergency Consultants will work autonomously, demonstrating strong professional judgment and clinical skills in a multi-disciplinary environment. They will oversee the daily operations of the clinical floor, ensuring smooth management. Responding to hospital MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as needed, they will provide supervision, training, and guidance to junior staff. Additionally, they will engage in teaching, quality assurance, health promotion, and community education activities. The role also involves active participation in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.

Requirements
Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Fellowship with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in Emergency Medicine at a senior level and contemporary knowledge of professional issues and trends.
Highly developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Significant experience in rural and remote Emergency Medicine provision and sound understanding of remote area health service provision (desirable).
