Trisian-Global Consulting is seeking a full-time, permanent Director of Nutritional Services at an On-site Medical Center in Los Alamos, NM.  $ 10,000.00 Sign-On bonus available for twenty four month commitment$ 1,000.00 Housing Allowance for up to twelve months upon relocationThis position manages a staff including, Executive Chef, Cooks, Nutrition Aide and Clinical Dietician. and directs the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with department and organizational objectives. Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Directs staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care. Ensures all regulatory requirements and metrics are met on a continual basis.  Ensures that food prepared and served to our patients and staff is high quality, attractive and nutritious, and meets all dietary guidelines. This position will also oversee caterings for meetings and events. The successful candidate must have:At least 3 years of food service experienceAt least 2 years of previous significant leadership experienceCertified Food Manager (CFM) or must obtain within 18 months of hire
