The Facility:
As part of the state wide health service you will be located in this modern 160 bed facility providing high quality health care to the local region. The hospital also offers services in medical, surgical and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments. The hospital has a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are both associated teaching hospitals with contemporary teaching environments.

The Role:
Our client is looking for an individual to work in their busy ED in what will be a reasonably senior capacity that will require supervision of more junior staff. Although this position is not accredited this facility is accredited and there would be an opportunity to join the ACEM training program at this facility once you are accepted on to the course.

Emergency Department has an annual attendance rate of 28000 patients per year with 28% admission rate.

The Requirements:
Only onshore doctors with ED experience or CA pathway doctors who already hold the Advanced Standing Certificate will be considered for this role.
