The Role:
We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, enthusiastic, and enjoy being part of a close-knit team. Successful applicants will play a key role in helping shape the Service for the future.

You will work in our team in the provision of Specialist Aged Care. You will be working with other specialists within the Division of Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care to provide consultant level care for inpatients.

You will also provide consultation services to satellite hospitals, outpatients and community consultations including Aged Care Outreach Service to RACF

The Hospital:
This hospital is the major specialist referral centre for the region, providing a comprehensive range of acute, sub-acute, specialist community, mental health and aged services. This hospital serves a population of over 100,000 and has 1500+ staff.

The Location:
Situated in a beautiful seaside city nestled between the dramatic Illawarra escarpment and the ocean. Located only an hour’s drive south of Sydney it provides access to city life in a semi-rural setting. Commute times are short; and when you’re not at work, you can relax on some of the country’s best beaches, explore the stunning coastal rainforests and outdoor adventure activities or enjoy the local dining, shopping, galleries and theatres – all contributing to a perfect work-life balance.

The Requirements:
  • Registered with AHPRA (RACP) and have at least 12 months recent experience
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially or partially comparable.
