An opportunity is now available for a flexible and motivated Registered Nurse to join the newly created general medical nursing team as a Senior Staff Nurse based within Ward 6A at Raigmore Hospital.
This new team will primarily focus on the care of the elderly / rehabilitation, in preparation for these patients either being discharged to their home, a care facility, or to a community hospital.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the leadership of the day to day running of the shift, lead on quality improvement projects and deputise for the Senior Charge Nurse in their absence.
Effective management and support of the nursing team will be expected, alongside a dynamic approach to change and service development. Ideally you will have experience of frailty and medicine for the elderly.
