Applications are invited from Physiotherapists who are keen to develop their clinical knowledge and leadership skills within the Orthopaedic Unit at Raigmore Hospital.
The successful applicant will lead the Physiotherapy Team on the Orthopaedic Unit and be responsible for the clinical management, co-ordination and delivery of effective Physiotherapy services across both trauma and elective Orthopaedic specialties over 7 days alongside the existing Team Lead.
In addition to carrying a clinical caseload, the post holder will be expected to support senior Physiotherapy colleagues, rotational Physiotherapy staff, Physiotherapy Healthcare Support Workers and Physiotherapy students in their professional development.
The successful applicant will participate in the 7 day Orthopaedic Physiotherapy service and the post will include weekend working. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical expertise in the assessment and management of a range of Orthopaedic patients and should have relevant leadership skills.
An active continuous professional development programme, Turas / staff appraisal systems are in operation.
