North Rockhampton Nursing Centre (NRNC) is home to over 120 residents and is spread over three wings: Cecil Pritchard Wing, Ivy Baker Wing, Westwood Wing. About the role:

The Enrolled Nurse supports the Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Midwife (RM) in providing person-centred care as specified by registration requirements, Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards and codes, educational preparation, relevant legislation, and context of care.

  • Recognise and respond appropriately, and report sudden alterations, in the patient's condition resulting in the EN's workload changes, in a timely manner to the RN/RM
  • Apply evidence-based practice in alignment with current guidelines to achieve positive care outcomes for recipients of healthcare services for CQHHS as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have current nursing registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

  • Practices within the NMBA competency domains and standards for an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Sound evidence-based clinical skills for an Enrolled Nurse
  • Ability to communicate respectfully and thoughtfully with other staff, patients, and carers.

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $83,747 p.a. (f/t) is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $34.88 - $37.01 p.h. (Permanent) or $42.90 - $45.53 p.h. (Casual, Including 23% casual loading)
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
