MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop applicable statistical methods in the assigned area including research, oncology, epidemiology,
infections, diseases, genome, etc. Maintain excellent database quality for surveillance and research activities
by performing required data cleaning and management.
• Perform specific data analysis tasks. Evaluate the collected scientific, basic sciences and clinical data within and
outside MNGHA, as applicable. Design and interpret data to variable information for the necessary health
related decisions and/or research.
• Produce and generate all types of statistical reports including graphics, descriptive tables, and info graphics as
applicable.
• Ensure that all statistical reports produced are accurate and reliable in order to assist healthcare team in
medical studies and conclusions, improve research works in public health and infection control, and other
health related research as applicable.
• Ensure that the use of all medical and research databases in biostatistics is in line with MNGHA policies.
Participate in providing security tools to protect the data and patients’ privacy.
• Coordinate with immediate supervisor on all health related statistical operations including analysis
interpretation, planning and organizing work activities within the assigned area. Monitor data entry functions
and advise any changes to the format and systems.
• Participate in mentoring medical/clinical staff on Biostatistics methods and applications.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology (with background in Biostatistics/Statistics) – Essential
Master Degree in Biostatistics  – Preferred

Work Experience: Minimum of 4 (four) years’ experience in hospital setting/environment, 1 (one) year of
which in Biostatistics or related field – Essential

English Language: Level – I – Essential

Computer : Level II – Essential
