Principle Duties:

1. Provide high quality anesthesia care to the patient clientele
2. Provide anesthesia consultation services as requested
3. Supervise and teach anesthetists of lower grade, including residents and fellows
4. Participate in departmental and hospital teaching
5. Participate and generate research activities
6. Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed
7. Maintain a list of privileges, and work within the confines of their work experience and skills
8. Understand and adhere to all hospital related policies and procedures pertaining to medical practice
9. Participate in the quality improvement reviews conducted by the Department of Pediatric Anesthesia

1. Perform other related duties as appropriate and as assigned
2. Acquire appropriate computer skills, to utilize the hospital's computerization program
3. Undertake continuing medical education activities.
4. Anesthesia Board 2-3 years experience in Pediatric Anesthesia

Education: Completion of required period of training in anesthesia, with Saudi/Arab or North American/ European Board Certification.

Experience: Have 1-2 years post certification experience in pediatric anesthesia preferably with 1+ year North American/ European/Australian experience.

English Language Skills: Skilled Level — I — E

Arabic Language Skills: Preferred/ Basic

Computer Skills: Preferred/ Basic
