Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Responsibilities
Complete all competency based training as required for the Targeted Lung Health Check programme. This includes Spirometry training and qualification. 
To lead the promotion of good working relationships within the team and ensure good communication between team members and other ward/unit/hospital staff.
To deliver the 'Lung Health Check' process with quality and professionalism.
8.    To participate in the Care Group quality monitoring programme, auditing standards of care and implementing changes agreed with the Sister/Charge Nurse.

What experience/skills are needed 
Registered Nurse on relevant part of the register. 
Good communication skills
Previous experience of autonomous working. 
Experience working with IT systems and IT skills. 
Ability to work across multiple sites within Southampton which may include a mobile unit, community hospital site, UHS site, RSH site or working from home.

Getting to Work

Application can be made for parking on site at UHS or through one of the park and ride schemes. This will be based on specific criteria to determine eligibility for site parking as this can be very limited.  UHS encourages staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible. UHS is well connected through bus services to the city centre and other areas.
