Remuneration value up to $484 807 p.a. (L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist) or Remuneration value up to $443 589 p.a. (L18 – L24 Staff Specialist), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements

Purpose of the role

As a valued team member with a personal commitment to the health and safety of our patients you will assist in the provision of an effective, efficient and equitable Psychiatric service within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.

Your opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist Psychiatry including, Staff Specialists in Addictions, Child & Youth & Remote Psychiatry to facilitate the delivery of high-quality mental health care to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health and Alcohol Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (MHATODS) which includes Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service and Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service.  

Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) evidence as required for your employment in accordance with legislation/government policy and Directives.
