The role: 

Join the Digital Health Solutions team and work with a team of IT professionals within the Integrated electronic medical record (ieMR) team in accordance with the approved ITSM management processes.  This role works at both a strategic and operational level in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems. 

Your team acts as a conduit between customer, technical and operational areas and your engagement with each team will be a key attribute to the role. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to a team at strategic and operational levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information systems to achieve defined service levels.
  • Ensure compliance and optimal performance of enterprise service levels by managing and performing the dissemination and implementation of policies, processes and standards for technical configuration of the enterprise infrastructure
  • Contribute to a highly skilled team in accordance with the approved ITSM Problem Management process
  • Maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage third parties that provide technical support

Are you right for this role?

To secure this role, the successful candidate will have previous experience working in a team of technical specialists within a large and complex service delivery environment. They will have high level skills and experience managing clinical and non-clinical applications and the delivery of integrated enterprise applications.

In particular, expert skills in the ieMR Reporting stream would be favourable. This team looks after C# .Net Framework applications and websites (with associated REST APIs), CCL (Cerner Command Language) programming, SQL (Microsoft Synapse preferred), PowerBI Desktop/Report Builder, PowerBI Service, and JavaScript based Cerner Custom mPages. Cloud based experience and Azure CI/CD Pipeline or similar knowledge is highly beneficial.

Knowledge of ITIL Service Management processes including incident management, problem management, test and change management, and configuration management is essential for the role.

Furthermore, applications should highlight strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation including health professionals and consumers.
